Environmentally Friendly Inks
Our range of Bio Lithographic Inks are formulated from sustainable raw materials and therefore could be considered environmentally friendly. They are referred to as Bio inks.
The varnish, which makes up the bulk of the formulation, consists of resins dissolved in vegetable oil.
The most important component of the resin is rosin (Kolophonium). The vegetable oils are generally things like linseed or soya bean oil. These oils can be used pure or in a modified version as an alkyd resin.
This means it can be stated that these inks are formulated from renewable resources and are about as environmentally friendly as can be reasonably expected.
Carbon Neutral Web hosting
The energy used in our web hosting is also completely carbon neutral. All the CO2 created whilst running the servers is absorbed by carefully managed sustainable forests.
